NBC announced that they are airing
A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway on October 29th with the original Glinda and Elphaba. That means we knew that Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth are going to perform on the magical night.
What we did not know, until after last night’s taping, is that several of the actresses, who have played the role throughout the musical’s run, will also be part of, what I am sure will be, the very Popular broadcast. A notion that I think is a really smart move. One that I will be looking forward to.
Ariana Grande, Pentatonix and Adam Lambert will also be performing songs from the hit musical that has been Defying Gravity for 15 years and counting.
