Since Goose cannot be in Top Gun: Maverick (because he is dead and all), they decided that Goose’s son can be part of the sequel. Who do the producers think looks like a young Anthony Edwards? According to
Variety, they decided to give that title to
Miles Teller, who also does not look like movie mom, Meg Ryan, either. I guess they think we are too stupid to figure that out.
Having said that, I like Miles Teller, I just think they could have done a better job casting the son of two iconic actors.
