Tonight is the Oscars and frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn. Which is interesting because I have seen more Oscar nominated films this year than in years’ past and I still have no interest. While the only Best Picture noms I have seen is Get Out and The Post, I cannot get myself to watch the others. I have started a few of them, but then get distracted by shiny things. I also was underwhelmed by The Disaster Artist, The Greatest Showman (I love the song) and I, Tonya.
Thanks to Honest Trailers, I know I am not alone. Are we the only two who don’t have any movies to root for this year or do you feel same the way as us?
I would rather watch Fist Fight, Daddy’s Home 2 and Jumanji again than any of the Oscar nominated films just once. Actually Fist Fight was my favorite movie of the year, take that Wonder Woman. Yes, I am the only person who did not like the latter, I know. And I also shut off bad movies like Baywatch and The Emoji Movie and I barely got through It.
