January 16th, 2018 under Dylan McDermott Dermot Mulroney

For decades, we have not been able to tell Dylan McDermott and Dermot Mulroney apart, but that can all change tonight at 9p on Fox. That is because Mulroney is going to guest star on McDermott’s LA to Vegas.

When Captain Dave (McDermott) breaks his wrist, Bernard (Nathan Lee Graham) and Ronnie (Kim Matula) call in a replacement. Cue his arch nemesis Captain Steve (Mulroney), who is filling in for the injured pilot. Steve normally flies international and everyone wants that route, especially Dave. That and everyone wants to work with Dave because they all love him.

But when Steve hints he wants the LA to Vegas route, Dave tries to recruit Bernard and Ronnie to get rid of his competition. Then when Dave gets an offer he can’t refuse, he gives up his flight or should I say flight. Only problem is now the flight attendants want to get rid of the new pilot, and they have no one to help them. Or do they? You’ll never believe what happens next.

Meanwhile in Vegas, Colin (Ed Weeks), Artem (Peter Stormare) and stripper Nichole (Olivia Macklin) throw the most original kids’ birthday party for the professor’s 3-year-old son. I know a lot of fathers who will want a party just like this for their sons.

When it comes to Dylan McDermott and Dermot Mulroney, I used to not be able to tell them apart. After tonight, it is even harder for me to tell which one is which. What I do know, is I love seeing them share the camera together. It might’ve have taken nearly 30 years to make it happen, but good things happen to those who wait. And this is a very good thing. So good, I want them to work together more often because the Hollywood twins play very well off of each other. Do not believe me, then see it for yourself tonight. That and for a sitcom that a half hour of nonstop laughing.
