Hoda Kotb was not fired from NBC for sexually harassing her co-anchors, quite the opposite. The popular news anchor got a big promotion today. She was named Savannah Guthrie’s new co-anchor for the 7a and 8a hours of Today, effective immediately. Plus, she will still have her show with Kathie Lee Gifford at 10a.
I think NBC made the right decision because who does not love her? She is warm, funny and speaks her mind whether she is sober or not!
But… I wonder how long she will do all three shows? I have a feeling either after the Olympics or in September, she will no longer do her show with Kathie Lee. They will get rid of one of either the 9a or 10a hour and have Gifford and Megyn Kelly host an hour together. Or make Kelly a reporter and give Gifford her own show with someone else.
