Hot off of the heels that Ruben Studdard was dropped by J Records, word comes that Taylor Hicks is also without a record deal.
EW was told by his former-record label, "Taylor is going to record his next album on his own," said a label rep. "He is no longer on the J Records roster."
I have to admit I am not shocked he was dropped, he was good for TV but he was bad without his stupid dancing to back up his average vocals and lame music.
Oh well at Taylor Hicks and Ruben Studdard can console each other about being dropped, hopefully they will leave some room for Jordin Sparks who will be lucky if her debut album sells 500,000 copies.
