Modern Family was renewed for two more seasons earlier this year, but could those two seasons be its last? Steve Levitan spoke with Deadline and told them, “Our original goal was to just stay on the air…But after awhile we thought we may be in control our own fate, and 10 sounded like a nice round number.” Although, the end is not definite and they do not have a plan for how they want to end the beloved sitcom; they are thinking it would end with a big family event. Who knows maybe they will end with Hayley getting married?
Is the show definitely dunzo? It ain’t over until the fat man aka Cam sings! I mean, the original plan was for The Big Bang Theory was to end with season 10 and they just got a 2 season renewal. So never say never.
While I would have been sad to see the show go years ago, the last few have not been as good. It somehow lost the heart and humor it once had. Maybe if they have a specific end date, it could help to revive the show’s feeling. Would you be sad to say goodbye in two years?
