A man crashed into the WLS studio in Chicago during their 10p newscast. A witness said that before the crash,
“I saw a minivan do about four or five U-turns and then he pulled off to the side of the road and we didn’t think much of it but then we were watching the news and we heard a big crash and he was in the window,” said Tyler Cloutier, witness.
During the newscast the police came to arrest Gerald Richardson, 25, but his reaction was almost as shocking as what he did.
He didn’t want to get arrested. He started fighting. He said, ‘What did I do?’ He got out of the van. He was like, ‘What did I do wrong?’ It was pretty scary,” said Ryan Kamplain, witness.
Richardson will spend Christmas going in front of the Judge, wonder if that Judge was watching WLS’s 10p newscast on Sunday?
To make matters worse for Richardson he didn’t have car insurance, did he not realize how much that is going to cost him to fix before he drove their window?
