The Goldbergs is based on the show creator Adam F Goldberg’s childhood. Well his childhood and his adulthood came together when his real mom, Beverly Goldberg, met Wendi McLendon-Covey, who plays his mom on the hit ABC sitcom that airs Tuesdays at 9p. Although the above picture is when they first met, it isn’t the first time they have talked. The fake Bev recently said in an interview that the real Bev sends her some of her old clothes from the ’80s. I don’t know about you, but I would love to have any of the rejects because she really does have a totally rad fashion sense!

Although Wendi McLendon-Covey is pretty gosh darn perfect in that role and looks just like her. My dad like totally has a crush on Wendi and once he sees this picture, he will have a crush on both Bevs! Oy!
