KSTP’s Bill Lunn was reading the news on Tuesday, when he slipped up and said a very bad word. Lunn was doing the newscast and he read the line, “I pledge the allegiance to the flag” with a key letter missing from the last word. Catching his error, he immediately corrected himself and went on as nothing happen. Once he got to the very next story, you can kind of see why he made the mistake he did. So watch the video to see why he f*cked up big time.
Lunn issued an apology to the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, he said “Anyone who uses that word, that’s the opposite of the values that I stand for.” Then he added, “It’s just the other end of the spectrum of who I support and what I believe.”
I honestly think it was a honest slip of the tongue and he meant no harm by using the word. If he would’ve stopped what he was doing and got all flustered, then I think he would’ve meant it. But the fact that he went on and didn’t make a big deal about, shows it was an honest mistake.
