Warner Bros. "The Keith Ablow Show" is not returning for a second season in the fall. The strip has managed to attract a mere 1.0 national rating, not enough to justify continued support for the show beyond this season. Two other freshmen gabbers, NBC U’s "Megan Mullally" and Sony’s "Greg Behrendt," have already been canceled. (The latter two averaged only a .8 rating.) Warner Bros. execs said at NATPE two weeks ago that they would continue to support "Ablow" through this season, but would not comment on any future plans for the talker. "We’ll continue to produce the show for TV stations for the balance of the year and support it the way we do with all of our shows," Warner Bros. Domestic TV prexy Ken Werner said at the time. One major station group topper, some of whose outlets air "Ablow," said it was clear the show would not return, even though no official word has come down.
