NBC announced their midseason schedule today and missing from the lineup is fan favorite Community. People are so unhappy about this they are signing up for classes at their local community colleges on Thursday nights hoping to make up for the loss of the cult comedy.
Things will be looking grim for Grimm when Chuck concludes it run on January 27th because it will be between a game show and a new show. Not a good fit for the chilling supernatural drama based on the stories we knew and loved. Hopefully it will get Harry’s Law’s old spot (the David E Kelly show moves to Sundays) when NBC finally gives up on Rock Center like everyone else in America.
Even though NBC is not a fan of the funny Community, they are sticking with the unfunny Whitney and moving her to Wednesday nights! All I have to say to that is go American Idol, Survivor and The Middle! You know the shows that people will be watching and enjoying instead.
Since I mentioned
CBS they also announced their changes which are Undercover Boss will be back on January 15th and ¡Rob! will replace Rules of Engagement on January 12th. ¡Rob! is Rob Schneider’s new sitcom. I love Adam Sandler’s little friend but I really don’t like that Rules was sacrificed for it. The show has been really funny this year and I was hoping it would be around for the full year. Couldn’t they have pulled How I Met Your Mother and put it out of our misery?
Now back to NBC below is the lineup starting in the new year which does give us a Monday to sing about! Too bad that can’t be said about the other 6 days of the week.
