ABC has cancelled My Generation after two airings according to The Futon Critic. I have to admit, I really liked the pilot but I started to lose interest after the second episode. I think the show had a lot of potential but there were just too many characters. Not only were there 9 leads, but since we were looking at their lives at both 2000 and 2010 it was like 18 characters so it was hard to follow. If they would have focused on just 5 people, I think the show would’ve been better but 9 was way too many.
ABC has not announced what will replace the show, but I am assuming that Grey’s Anatomy repeats will fill the slot until they are ready to give that slot to Off The Map so it can be all Shonda Rhimes Thursday. Personally I am rooting for Body of Proof because I really liked that pilot and I am over Shonda’s medical dramas. Actually the show I am really waiting for is Matthew Perry’s Mr Sunshine, it was my favorite comedy of the new season!
