Jeremy Allen White has played Bruce Springsteen in Deliver Me from Nowhere, but he looks more like another celebrity. That celebrity is Gene Wilder, and a movie is being made about his life.
So when The Bear star was on Today, Craig Melvin wanted to know if he would play that role. “Absolutely, it would be my honor,” he said. “Young Frankenstein is one of my earliest film memories. Blazing Saddle…He was a genius. It would be an honor. I love him. I’ve always loved him…I need the call.”
If anyone was born to play another celebrity, it is White to star as the legendary actor. Not only does he look like him, but he even sounds like him. If he doesn’t get the part, the person who did not cast him should be fired.
