Did you know that National Orgasm Day is on July 31st? It is, and Adam & Eve wants you to celebrate by yourself.
Therefore, the sex toy giant asked over 2,000 Americans how they opt to masturbate. A majority (54%) just use their hands, which is not good for their business. But 15.5% need a little help from the company’s products.
Another 10.5% need some visual help, and 5.3% use their own visuals and memories.
Am I the only one who wants to know what the other 14.7% do?
“There isn’t one ‘right’ way to masturbate,” says Dr. Jenni Skyler, PhD, LMFT, C-PST, and Adam & Eve’s resident sex therapist. “For some people, their hands provide everything they need. Others enjoy the additional stimulation of a vibrator or stimulator, or the use of erotic content. The important takeaway is that masturbation is a healthy form of self-care, and people shouldn’t feel embarrassed or ashamed about it.”
We should not be ashamed, so how do you pleasure yourself? I use all of the above!
One more note. 35% of the people surveyed said that they have a more intense orgasm with the help of adult products. More proof we don’t need a man, even for that!
