Donald Trump took over the Kennedy Center and turned the premiere performing arts center into a shitty one. Therefore, celebrities have been walking away from it in droves.
Earlier this week, Mr. Orange held a press conference and revealed who will be honored at this year’s Kenney Centers, and they are George Strait, KISS, Michael Crawford, Gloria Gaynor, and Sylvester Stallone. Not only that, he said he will be hosting the event later this year.
After the announcement, fans of the I Will Survive singer have urged her to turn down the award. As of now, she has not said what she will do.
While her fate is still undecided, Tom Cruise’s is reportedly decided. According to what sources told The Washington Post, the actor turned down the honor due to “scheduling conflicts.”
Is that the real reason? We will never know because he is good at keeping his private life private.
While he does that, I will be thinking he turned it down because he wants nothing to do with this administration.
