The second best thing about Ugly Betty getting cancelled is that it freed up Vanessa Williams to join
Desperate Housewives next season. ABC said that she will shakes things up and wreak havoc on Wisteria Lane when she moves in. If any actress can do it, it is Vanessa Williams. Now the only question will the writers be able to write for her? If it is anything like the season, I am not sure. Desperate just hasn’t been good since the end of the first season. Hopefully her joining the show will put a fire under their a$$es.
