Ever since we got to know Pete (Richie Moriarty) on Ghosts, we have gotten to see him living like the good Pinecone Leader that he is. But tonight at 8:30p on CBS, we will see a different side of him.
The Mayor (Justin Kirk) has decided to hold a reelection event at Jay’s restaurant, and he reveals why Woodstone Manor is so important to him.
Back in 1987, he went on a date that didn’t end well there. His prom date was chopped up by a man who escaped from an insane asylum. That’s right, he was sleeping Stephanie’s (Odessa A’zion) boyfriend.
He claims that he tried to save her, but the ax man knocked him out before he could. Stephanie says he ran away and left her there to die.
Stephanie gets into Sam’s (Rose McIver) head and tries to get the living to confront the Mayor about his lying past. But Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) needs the Mayor to help get his restaurant reopened, so he tells his wife to remain silent.
His restaurant has been closed ever since the stripper fell through his roof and died. But now that the construction is done, he just needs to permit people to give him permission to reopen.
What will Sam do? Whose side will she take: her husband’s or the bitchy teen who will never grow up or old?
Talking about people who never grow up. Gabe (Dustin Ybarra), who works for Jay, wants to celebrate 4/20, but his boss told him he can’t get high. He didn’t listen, so he smoked some pot in his car, and Pete was there to bust him. However, Pete gets high! And his life is going to change because of it! I just can’t tell you how. But I can tell you I want to see High Pete more often because he is groovy!
Just when you think that Ghosts can’t surprise you, they find a way to do so! And Pete getting high was the surprise I didn’t know I needed until now! And I love it! Just like I love the sitcom! I laugh harder during each episode than I do when I get high!
