For over 20 years, Jigsaw has terrified Horror fans. But it looks like his days of riding a tricycle might have unceremoniously come to an end.
According to what a source told Bloody Disgusting, Saw Xi is “totally dead. It’s 100% over. Almost a year now.”
Saw XI was slated to be released on September 27, 2004. But then it was delayed a year. And today comes word that the sequel has made like one of Jigsaw’s victims.
What happened? The source told BD that the two producers started fighting. One tried to go ahead with production, but the other one stopped it. And Lionsgate was powerless to get them back on track.
Therefore, ending the franchise’s run without a proper ending. But that is what happens when a franchise goes on too long. Jason Vorhees and Freddy Krueger never got their endings either. I know because I am still waiting for that to happen. Halloween is one of the rare franchises that got its finale.
Are you upset that Saw was cancelled? As someone who loves Horror, I have always hated the Saw movies. So, I saw good riddance.
