In 1992, people were flocking to the theaters to see A League of Their Own, a biopic about the Rockford Peaches, a female baseball team during World War II.
Over the weekend, fans were flocking to see Rosie O’Donnell, Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Bitty Schram, Megan Cavanagh, Tracy Reiner, Anne Ramsay, Freddie Simpson, Patti Pelton, Connie Pounds-Taylor, and Kelli Simpkins at Chicago’s Donald Stephens Convention Center for the Chicago Sports Spectacular.
