Dave Grohl had some news to share, and he wanted to share it himself before the tabloids revealed it.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” the Foo Fighters singer wrote. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
The drummer did not say who the mother of his child is, but I have a feeling someone will do that soon, whether they want to be uncovered or not.
Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary a month ago. They have three daughters, Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
Hopefully, the press will allow them to work things out privately because that is the only way they have a shot.
