Merrily We Roll Along’s Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, and Lindsay Mendez sat down with Vanity Fair and did one of their lie detector tests.
Mendez wanted to know from Groff, “You are a notoriously spitty singer. Is that because you want to make sure everyone can see how hard you are singing?” And he told her no.
Then she wanted to know what is his secret to keeping so hydrated. Then he said, “I get wet…” And that is when his two co-stars were like no, don’t go there.
So they asked him again, and again he talked about how he gets wet. Eventually, he settles on drinking a lot of water.
They tried to move on, but he went back to it. And he said he doesn’t think his wet mouth is related to being hydrated. So they wanted to know why he thinks his mouth gets so wet. And he said, “Everything gets wet.” And it is not sweat-related. And at that point, they just gave up.
Poor Jonathan. We know he is a spitter because of Hamilton when he played King George. And we also know something that doesn’t make him wet, and that is seeing his best friend Lea Michele’s vagina. She talked about how she showed it to him because he never saw one.
