Billy Idol is going to do something that no other musician has ever done. On April 8th, he is going to play the first-ever concert at the Black Canyon of the Colorado River at Hoover Dam.
The Rocker is doing this because “The North American West is experiencing the worst drought to befall the region in over one thousand years, a crisis that will increasingly affect the day-to-day lives of millions around the world in a myriad of ways. This is a daunting environmental and human challenge that I’m committed to raising awareness of.”
The concert will only be open to 250 people. So get your tickets now at thisisvertigo.live.
Idol added that the show will feature special guests and “it will be filmed to help illuminate this important issue.”
If I could go, I would. Imagine how awesome the acoustics will be at the Dam? Rebel Yell will be totally haunting.
