This is not the first time Fuller has taken it back before the original project. He also told Hannibal’s origin story and took us back ten years before the Enterprise took to the skies with Captain Kirk and Dr. Spock. So I have faith in him to do a good job with Jason Vorhees and his mom. After all, she did all of the killings before her son out on his hockey mask.
