The Dodgers are vying for the National League West Division Championship title against the San Diego Padres. During the game last night, they got an ominous sign when a goose, yes, goose, landed on the field. They found out their goose looks to be cooked because they lost 5-3.
Maybe their luck would’ve changed if the bird pooped on one of the players’ heads before hitting the wall, or scoreboard in this case. But since it didn’t, it looks like they will be watching the World Series from their homes and not behind home plate.
