On Saturday, the Columbus Clippers played the Buffalo Bisons, and the game was typical until the 5th inning. However, that is when things got nutty. A squirrel made his way onto the field and avoided getting caught by everyone that tried to catch him. It seems weird that they couldn’t capture him because baseball players are used to catching balls that are faster than the rodent. But I guess it is different when the moving ball is on the ground and can move in different directions?
Anyways, eventually, the squirrel was caught, and according to The Columbia Dispatch, he was set free outside of the stadium.
But I am sure he wanted back in because he keeps hearing people singing about all the peanuts and cracker jacks they have inside.
