A man was super excited to have seats behind home plate at the Northwest Arkansas Naturals vs Springfield Cardinals game on Saturday. He probably thought I have the best seats in the house, and he did.
To celebrate, he bought a beer and left it on the wall in front of him. Nothing can happen to that beer? Or so he thought. According to TMZ, National pitcher Anthony Veneziano threw a ball at Cardinals’ second baseman Chandler Redmond, and he swung and hit the ball. However, it went the wrong way, hit the field, bounced up, and hit the fan’s beer. That caused the can to explode all over the guy.
Was the fan upset? Nope, he laughed it off and took a bow.
We have heard hit by pitch, but this is the first time I ever saw someone hit by a beer!
Hopefully, the team bought a fan another beer because they ain’t cheap! Then again, that memory is priceless.
