Help is not your typical mystery movie, but it will have you on the edge of your seat until the credits roll at the end.
Grace’s (Emily Redpath) boyfriend broke up with her, so her childhood friend, Liv (Sarah Alexandra Marks) invites BFF to stay in the country with her and her fiance’ Edward (Louis James).
As soon as she gets there, she notices there is something off about the couple. She doesn’t know what it is, but the couple’s neighbor David (Blake Ridder) tells her what it is. However, we don’t know what he said to Grace. Therefore, we are left to guess what he saw.
Just when you think you figured it out, they throw a wrench into the situation. That is what makes it a mystery. And the way that Blake Ridder wrote and directed the film, he makes you want to watch it to find out how it ends.
When it finally does, you are left satisfied because you didn’t see it coming but it makes total sense. That is because the mysteries are the ones you don’t solve on your own.
This is Ridder’s first full-length feature, and I can’t wait to see what else he does. He definitely has a future in this business.
HELP is now available for digital download on Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, YouTube and VUDU.
