The Weeknd spent today with the Blinding Lights on him, expecting for his name to be called during the Grammy nominations. However, his smile turned into a frown when he didn’t get any noms.
“The Grammys remain corrupt,” the singer said. “You owe me, my fans and the industry transparency.”
Personally, I think he is completely overrated, and he needs to get over himself. After all, he might be taught a lesson in the very near future. That is because CBS airs the Grammys and the upcoming Super Bowl. They might not like his Instagram message and fire him the football game’s halftime show. I am sure the execs at CBS are not going to be happy with his statement.
Seriously, why does he deserve a Grammy over other people who didn’t get noms? There are so many artists and only so many categories. He just didn’t make the cut.
