If you think your over zealous neighbor decorated their house with one too many Christmas lights, that ain’t nothing as compared to the Australian man who just entered the Guinness Book of World Records for his light display. David Richards strung 1,194,380 lights to make kids and kids at heart feel very happy this holiday season. The Australian father did this magnificent display to raise money for the charity SIDS and Kids ACT that helped him through a tough time back in 2002.
The good news for his neighbors is that he didn’t decorate his house (as in years past), but a mall. Back when he did his home he only used half as many lights. I think what he did is so much more spectacular with twice as many LEDs. Don’t you wish your mall would hire him to make it just as beautiful?
Grumpy Cat gets her own movie tonight at 8p on Lifetime and Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever might be the network’s best holiday film ever!
Grumpy Cat (Aubrey Plaza) lives in Whiskers Pet Shop in a mall. The owner has been having some rough times and he hasn’t been paying the rent. The landlord tells him, he has two days to get him all the money or he will be evicted. Now, he has to find a way to get all of that money to pay his rent.
That is where JoJo comes in, he is a beautiful and very expensive dog and thankfully someone wants to adopt him. That means Whiskers is saved…or is it?
You see, there are two guys who want to earn enough money to tour with their rock band and they see JoJo as they cash ticket. They decide to break in to Whiskers and steal him.
Then there is 12-year-old Chyrstal (Megan Charpentier), and she doesn’t have many friends. She volunteers at Whiskers, so she has something to do. One day at the mall, she meets a Santa who tells her to make a wish. She wishes for a friend.
That friend turns out to be Grumpy Cat. By some miracle, ever since she made that wish, she can hear Grumpy Cat talk.
Now the two of them are fast friends, which is a really good thing. That is because she is in the store when the two guys come to rob it. Now it is up to them to save the day, will Chyrstal and Grumpy Cat be able to do? You will just have to tune in to find out.
That and to watch a really cute movie that pokes fun at itself. The film literally gets catty with itself and that is going to make you enjoy it ever more. Seriously, who doesn’t love talking cat movies? And one that is on the joke makes is even better.
Don’t take my word for it, take my cat’s word for it. When I asked her how it was, she said, “Purrfect!” Actually, she just purred, but we know what she meant. And you know will know exactly what Grumpy Cat means because unlike my kitty, the internet sensation has one! Meow!
So a mother asked her daughter to clean the stuffing out of a turkey on Thanksgiving and what the teen found left us and her in tears. There was another turkey (so she thought) in it. When she realized that the cooked bird was pregnant, she started to cry.
What she didn’t realize is her mom put a Cornish hen inside of it to prank her. If you don’t get the joke, turkeys lay eggs and don’t give birth. In the girl’s defense, turkey eggs are not popular so it makes sense why she might not have known how they repopulate.
Terry Crews is normally all muscles, but in this photo that he posted today on WhoSay he is looking more like he is all fat. So did the host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? eat a little too much for Thanksgiving yesterday? Nope, it is just something he did on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Seriously, how real does that fat suit look on him?
