Why I love the Two and a Half Men Vanity Cards!
March 2nd, 2007 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: 2 ]

Chuck Lorre (check out past Vanity Cards)
So I am really behind on my TV viewing this week and I just saw this week's Two and a Half Men this morning. I just love this show, I always find myself laughing out loud at least once in every episode. Sometimes even more than that when they are especially sadistic! But the thing I love most are the Vanity Cards at the end of the show! I think the concept is so bloody brilliant! So every week I sit there with my remote in hand on pause to see what brilliance Chuck Lorre is going to spit out this week. So this week's episode deals with Charlie and Alan telling their mom if she died no one would cry at her funeral. Feeling bad they decide to go to her house on her birthday to surprise her and find she has another two and a half men who really do love her. Feeling jealous Alan invites her over to his house to take a family photo and she brings along the other two and a half men. But we never see that photo in the episode. That is until we get to the Vanity card and we see the above photo!
And that is why I love the Two and a Half Men Vanity Cards! Thank you Chuck Lorre and to CBS for extending the program time to 9:31 so i can see them!

Round 3: Katherine Heigl vs Grey’s Anantomy
March 2nd, 2007 under Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]

Katerine Heigl released this statement after Touchstone released their statement about a story leaked by her people(?) to People about her contract negotiations, "I am embarrassed that this has become a public matter and disappointed that Touchstone felt it necessary to divulge private employment information. I had hoped I would be able to deal with this issue confidentially with my bosses. I dropped out of the renegotiation simply because I wanted to treat myself with the respect I was not getting from them. No matter how unhappy I am about their decision to respond to this publicly, I continue to be passionate about and committed to this character." I don't know about you, but I am officially sick of all the behind-the-scenes conflicts on Grey's Anatomy!

Tim Kring previews season two of Heroes
March 1st, 2007 under Heroes. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tim Kring, creator of NBC's hit series Heroes, told SCI FI Wire that the upcoming second season will constitute a new volume in the multi-volume series, with new characters and an entirely new storyline. "If you remember, the opening of the pilot pronounced the episode as the beginning of Volume One," Kring said in an interview. "Volume One comes to a conclusion at the end of episode 23, and Volume Two starts with the opening of season two. And Volume Two is a different story." Kring added: "We could have new people and new storylines and new ideas and new threats and new bad guys and new heroes. So I would prepare the audience for that idea, that it's not just a continuing serialized storyline about only these people. It's a little more the 24 model than the Lost model." "Heroes needs to evolve, and if we are positing an idea that this is happening all over the world to many, many people, then we get to see some of those people and see how their story fits in." Kring also confirmed that some of the current heroes just might not survive this season, but added: "Many of your favorites will live to fight again."

Sci Fi Wire

I am so not loving that. To me it sounds a lot like the second season of Lost where they kept a lot of the same characters and then added a lot more that we didn't care about and basically ruined the show. I really hope Kevin Reilly (Seriously why was he re-upped today?) stops them from doing this. We so need a Hero that has the power to stop them from doing this to season two.
