Michael Ausiello is reporting that Eli Stone show creator Greg Berlanti has cast his former Dawson Creek's co-worker Katie Homes to guest on his new show Eli Stone on ABC. Not much else is known, but I hope she is playing one of his bad visions because I know for me seeing her on the show will be a bad vision.
ABC has not yet commented on the news, but until then I will keep saying Everwood, Everwood, Everwood.
Note to TV execs please stop the stunt casting of the paparazzi dream girls on TV shows like Britney Spears on How I Met Your Mother, Lindsay Lohan on Ugly Betty, Paris Hilton on My Name is Earl, Nicole Richie on Gossip Girl and Mary-Kate Olsen on Weeds and Samantha Who?. There are more talented people out there who need the work and I can stand to watch on TV.

ABC President Steve McPherson just told reporters that Katie will sing! "There's actually some singing and dancing that she does, and it's exquisite," says McPherson of the episode, adding that, "She was fabulous. It's a great role for her." (McPherson was at yesterday's table read.) Says McPherson: "For a show that we really creatively believed in, it helps us from a promotional standpoint." He says Greg Berlanti "had a creative idea and a way to do it," and he and Katie wanted to get back together.
Yeah it is a good get, but does he have to make her sing and dance. I mean didn't he see The Singing Detective, she wasn't able to sing, dance or act in that movie. Why does he think she will be able to do it for his show?
