Paris Hilton is in trouble with Los Angeles Department of Animal Services because she told tell Ellen Degeneres that she has 17 dogs according to the Daily Mail. California law says that only breeders can have more than 3 dogs per address, so that makes her 14 dogs over the amount.
The Animal Services Department said an animal rescue group had complained about Paris after seeing her on the Ellen show. And police paid her a visit the next day
But a spokesman said that when he visited her house it was under serious construction and nobody - including the pets - was home.
Paris' pets are reportedly not living with her at the moment and are all staying with animal handlers.
If she loved her dogs so much she would actually live with them and not give them to animal handlers for long periods of time.
She said that she got to so many dogs because they kept getting pregnant and having puppies and she couldn't bear to separate the babies from their mom, but appearantly she has no problem separating the dogs from herself. She already lost one cat this week, hopefully she will be losing 17 dogs along with that cat. Pets are not accessories you can wear when you want.
