After last week’s episodes where Lost added that the Island is traveling in time, I have decided to take two aspirins before I watch the show because my head was so hurting trying to figure out what time anyone was in whether they were on the Island or not. Actually I just got my headache back thinking about it!!!
So tune in to Lost on ABC tonight at 9p to see what new questions the show will ask us and get a headache trying to understand it all.
I can’t wait for tonights episode! So anyone who is a Knicks/Rangers fan must know Al Trautwig, he does commentary for Knicks and Rangers and now I just foundout he is actually a Lost fan.. He started his own weekly Lost blog where he some really funky theories on the whole time travel concept and how he thinks that Miles is the son of Dr. Marvin Candle! it’s really good Check it out:
I’m constantly having to tell hubby whether we’re in the past, present, or future, or he gets grumpy. That’s what he did last season with Heroes, and quit watching it after a while, even though I told him everytime the friggin timeline changed every few minutes. So I don’t expect him to make it through this season with Lost if they keep this crap up.
I’ve read that the occasional flash-back is ok only if it’s vital to the story, is clear that it’s a flashback, and isn’t overdone. I have NO idea if there’s some kind of unwritten rule about how often a story can get away with flash-forwards, but until Heroes and Lost, I believe most were only done at the end of a story, just once.
Hopefully networks, producers, and writers are paying attention to viewer losses with back-and-forth timeline shows!
