Remember a few weeks ago when Ellen Pompeo was like, I don’t know how Grey’s Anatomy can go on, and she wants it to end. Well, guess what? She lied.
How do I know? Because ABC announced today that she signed on to do another season of Grey’s. That means the longest-running medical drama will be back on the schedule in the Fall for a 19th season.
It is not shocking. Even though it has taken a hit in viewership, it still does well for ABC and globally. And for some reason, people still like it.
Will next year be the show’s last one? We don’t know but be prepared for Pompeo to tell us she wants it to be.
