CALL him "Fatman." Val Kilmer, the once-muscular star of "Batman Forever," was recently photographed shirtless on a California beach with a beer belly hanging over his swimsuit. "Anybody can take an unflattering photo of a human being. It’s a mean-spirited thing to do," Kilmer’s rep fumed, adding that the actor did a layout for Nylon magazine last week and "he was in great shape."

Anyone can take an unflattering picture yes, but then again any magazine can retouch a photo and make someone look to be in good shape. So basically his publicist is as truthful to us as Steven Huvane is about his clients.
