Scripts for three more episodes of One Tree Hill have been ordered by The CW as ratings for the North Carolina-based teen drama continue to rise. So far, The CW has picked up 13 full episodes for the show’s fourth season. Towards the end of season three, there was speculation that The WB – which merged with UPN to form The CW – would axe the show due to falling ratings after it moved from Tuesday to Wednesday nights. However, ratings have consistently risen week-on-week since the fourth season started on The CW; it now airs directly after a new episode of America’s Next Top Model, and manages to hold onto much of its strong lead-in numbers.
