Babyshambles have pulled the remaining dates of their current UK tour. As previously reported, the band cancelled their show in Liverpool last night (October 6) and have now decided to abandon the remaining gigs. A spokesperson for the band’s new label Regal explained the dates are off to allow Pete Doherty to continue his "excellent" progress in drug rehab. "The band apologises to fans but hopes that they will understand the importance of Peter being able to best continue his good progress in recovering from addiction," the label explained. "The dates will be rearranged for as soon as possible and all tickets will remain valid."
