Miracle Workers started the series off in heaven. Then for season two, they took on medieval times. For season three, they explored the time of the American Pioneer. And tonight at 10p on TBS, they are taking us to a post-Apocalyptic world in Miracle Workers: End Times.
The episode starts off with Sid (Daniel Radcliff) and Freya (Geraldine Viswanathan) battling it out Mad Max style. But they instantly fall in love, get married and settle down in Boomtown.
They are struggling to pay for things, so Sid gets a job working for Morris (Steve Buscemi), who is known as “The Junkman” because he sells junk from the past.
Immediately Morris and Sid have a Sanford and Son relationship. That is until he meets the Mrs, aka Freya. What happens when Morris fires Sid because of her?
You are going to find out no one messes with her, especially the residents of Boomtown. In the second episode that airs tonight, she runs for President because she misses being a Warlord. What happens when she finds out that she doesn’t have a shot at winning? Remember what I just wrote about her? No one messes with her for a reason.
And next week’s episode is about Sid and Freya having problems in the bedroom, so they go to a sex clinic to reignite the flame in their sex life. Do I mean that literally? You will have to tune in for an episode that will have you laughing for 30 minutes straight.
Actually, this season is the most fun because they are just having fun! You can tell they love going to work every day. And we are loving what they did when they were there.
