Sheryl Lee Ralph was on Good Morning America yesterday, and she was wearing a new accessory. What was it? An arm sling.
What happened? She told George Stephanopoulos, “I was a passenger in an SUV headed to my speaking engagement, and I guess the driver was disoriented, and we literally nosedived off of the loading dock of the convention center. It is the craziest thing to feel yourself going straight down.
“I don’t know if it was a Cadillac or a GMC, but that car—it came down on that front right wheel, it went forward, it dropped down, down, down, righted itself, and it kept moving! I was like, ‘Whatever car that is, thank you, car, thank you. Thank you, American car makers.”
Then she added, “Life is short. You do not know what it’s going to bring to you. Every day, appreciate it and the people and things around you.”
Amen! Live life to its fullest and appreciate it all!
