ABC has cut Scandal’s episode order from 22 to 18 and they won’t say why according to
Variety. We are all thinking the reason for the shortened season for one of their tops show is Kerry Washington’s unconfirmed pregnancy that has been rumored for a few weeks now.
Personally I wouldn’t mind if they did a few episodes without her because it could set things up for something even bigger and unexpected next season.
How do you feel about their episode order being cut down? I am sure ABC is not exactly happy about it because Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is a bust, Grey’s Anatomy has it goods weeks and bad weeks and Scandal does consistently well. So they really depend on Scandal not only to keep their Thursdays strong, but also the rest of their week because except for Mondays they are struggling with their 10p shows.
