Looks like Sacha Baron Cohen has beat out Johnny Depp for the role of Freddie Mercury in the biopic according to
Daily Mirror. A source interviewed by the paper said this, "Film makers are working flat out to get the best possible script. Sacha loves the idea he can get away with playing Freddie after modelling Borat's look on him." As much as I hated Borat, I actually think Cohen can actually pull it off especially with that mustache, brilo hair and hairy body. And I also hate to say it, but I think he would be better in the role than Johnny Depp.
