Last week, America feel in love with The Librarians and tonight at 8p they are back for more on TNT!
So what can we expect from the upcoming episodes this season, The Guardian aka Rebecca Romijn previewed what is ahead for these magical artifact hunters. Recently on a conference call, she said that each episode is a standalone, but that all of the artifacts that they recover during the season will play a part in the big season finale.
So what are some of those magical items that they will be searching for each week? She shared with us, “We have the minotaurs. The thread of the labyrinth was a favorite one of mine. We get stuck in a labyrinth with a minotaur in one of our episodes.” In another one, “A fairy tale episode where fairy tales are coming to life in the small town and hurting people and killing people. And we slowly start turning into fairy tale characters.” Since you can’t air in December without a Christmas episode, there is one coming up next week. In that show, she said, “We have to drive Santa Claus back up to the North Pole and she doesn’t believe in Santa Claus and she’s not happy about it.” While she is not happy about it, we will be happy to learn her backstory as the she makes the long arduous trek.
Even though she can do comedy brilliantly, she is the straight (wo)man in the series, so I wanted to know what that is like for her. She explained, “I think it’s actually sometimes the most fun to play the straight man. I think playing the straight man is kind of the funniest character personally.” Then she added, “I love getting to be the skeptic of the group. I love getting to be the voice of the audience because it’s ridiculous. I mean every single episode the missions that are thrown our way are absolutely ridiculous.” We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Now what about those TV Legends ER’s Noah Wyle, Max Headroom’s Matt Frewer and Night Court’s John Laroquette, who appeared in the two hour series, will they be back for more hijinks? The child of the ’80s, said that all of them will return for a handful episodes.
Just in case, you needed another reason to watch this brilliant fun adventure every Sunday at 8p on TNT! But personally, I don’t think you need any more reason to enjoy this show then the fact that there is nothing else like it on television. That and it is an enjoyable show the whole family can watch together and love it all the same.

I love this show! Having Christian Kane and The Librarians on TV is awesome!
