According to NME, Malek lip synched to Canadian rocker Mark Martel’s vocals in Boheamian Rhapsody. Martel is known for sounding like the legendary Freddie Mercury.
Although NME adds that Malek’s vocals are mixed in with Martel’s. How much, who knows?
What we also know is that neither one of them will be heard on the movie’s soundtrack. Instead you will be hearing the real Queen songs on it. My theory, Queen wants to make as much money as they can off of this movie. Thus, they were insistent that their tunes be on the album.
