Hugh Jackman hosted the
Tonys from 2003-2005, Neil Patrick Harris has been doing them since 2009 (minus 2010) and this year the X Man is back as MC of Broadway’s biggest night. That’s right the Oscar nom will back to do the job this June 8th on CBS and I am so looking forward to seeing his song and dance numbers because they are always amazing.
Why NPH is not doing it this year is not known. I think it is because he is doing Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway during that time and not because he no longer will have a show on CBS at the end of next month.
Maybe next year, Neil and Hugh can host the show together because it would be double the entertainment, double the fun.
