Lisa Edelstein has chosen not to return to House for its 8th season. She told
TVLine, “After much consideration, I am moving onward with a combination of disappointment at leaving behind a character I have loved playing for seven years and excitement of the new opportunities in acting and producing that lie ahead.â€
I can’t say I blame her because there is nothing left for Cuddy to do on the show. How many times can she let House get away with murder, well close to murdering his patients? The sexual tension between House and her has been dealt with, so that mystique is gone? There really isn’t anything left for her for her to do. I will miss her, but she is making the right the choice. I am sure will be seeing her on the screen again real soon.
Maybe House will bring Chi McBride back to show House who is boss? I love Chi, but he was so good on the show that I began to hate him. And now that Human Target has been cancelled, he needs the work.
If not him, what about Charlie Sheen? Wouldn’t he be House’s perfect partner in crime?
