Grey’s Anatomy is going into its record-breaking 21st season, making it the longest-running medical drama. So, you would think it would be rolling in dough? It isn’t. Because of that, the large cast is going to have to get smaller.
On Monday, we found out that Jake Borelli, who has played Levi Schmitt for seven years, will depart the series after a few more episodes.
Today, we found out he is not alone. Midori Francis is leaving the show after just two seasons.
Deadline says that, like Borelli, she is in negotiations to return for a few episodes to wrap up her character’s storyline.
I don’t think the cuts are done. So expect to see at least one more doctor to say goodbye to Grey Sloan.
Who do you think will/want to be next?
Oh, I think I know a way the show could get a lot of money. They could part ways with Ellen Pompeo because I think her salary could save a lot of people’s jobs.
