So as we all know last season ended with both Izzie and George’s lives in peril on Grey’s Anatomy. Over the summer we learned that one of them would die and we would watch them perish during the season premiere of the show and tonight on ABC at 9p is the night. The first half hour of the season premiere is gut wrenching dealing with his death and then Katherine Heigl does something (scripted) and the show goes down hill from there and becomes as crappy as it was for most of last season. I was seriously crying throughout the first half hour minus Katherine’s scenes because as you will see she played everything so blah. Probably because all she cared about was promoting her movie and complaining how she had to work a 17 hour day because of it. Now as you know I am not a Katherine fan, but I am sure you will feel the same way I do when she ruins the show about halfway through the first hour. While it is not her fault because it is scripted for, the whole scene was so awkward and weird that I am seriously considering removing the show from my DVR if it doesn’t pick up in the second hour that I haven’t seen yet.
I miss the days when Grey’s was the must watch show, but after the bomb episode something happened to the show and it just hasn’t been as good and yet I still watch. So are you watching the show tonight on ABC at 9p?
While Grey’s did not impress me much the show that is debuting before it at 8p on ABC did. FlashForward is original and will have you hooked for longer than 2 minutes and 17 seconds.
The show starts out with the whole world blacking out for 2 minutes and 17 second and having visions of their lives six months from then. What would you do if you didn’t like your future? What if you did? What if you didn’t see anything? These are the questions they cast asks. While another group of them, a bunch of FBI agents are asking why and how did it happen? FlashForward is going to play out until they reach the time they saw and it looks like it is going to be a thrilling ride until they get there after watching the pilot. So check it out tonight and every Thursday at 8p! Maybe they will see Grey’s Anatomy getting better?
