Greg Berlanti is going solo. The "Everwood" creator has parted ways with producing partner Mickey Liddell and has renamed his Touchstone TV-based company Berlanti Television. Berlanti has tapped Melissa Berman as president of production at Berlanti TV, which already has set up two projects at ABC. "Eli Stone," a high-concept legal drama, has received a pilot order from the network, and an untitled project from writer Craig Wright has been given a script commitment. The split between Berlanti and Liddell, who worked together since Liddell produced Berlanti’s 2000 indie feature "The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy," is said to be amicable.

Sorry about all the Everwood related stories today, but I loved that show! BTW Greg Berlanti is one of the best people working in TV today.
