Fox announced today the
Raising Hope’s season finale on April 4th will also be its series one. After 4 seasons, the family sitcom is saying goodbye.
While I am sad to see this show go, I understand Fox’s decision. The ratings have dropped drastically this season and it hasn’t been about Raising Hope for a while now. My friends, who got me into the show, stopped watching because it became more about Jimmy and Sabrina, and his parents, and Hope has barely been seen. I have to admit when she stopped being the focus, it started turning me off too. Actually this season hasn’t been as good without Greg Garcia working on the show since he is now busy with CBS’s The Millers.
So in conclusion, yes I will miss it, but not as much had it ended after last season’s brilliant musical episode.
Lucas Neff, who played Jimmy Tweeted this, “Thanks for watching! Thanks to the writers, directors, cast mates + fans who made it possible. Goodbye, Jimmy.”
Garrett Dillahunt who plays Burt Chance Tweeted this, “I had a ball! Thank you @RaisingHopeFOX fans for going on this trip with us.”
